I have the 11 speed version of that Cervelo and love it. The paint looks amazing in the sun. Bike handles great and is very comfortable. 10/10 would buy again.

  2. I’ve got the Caledonia as well, just in the Ultegra Di2 12-speed version. LOVE the paint scheme, looks amazing in the sun and gets constant compliments. The bike comes alive with better wheels on it – I had a set of Zipp 303S that I swapped on. I also changed out the bars for something more ergonomic as the stock ones didn’t agree with me. Other than that I’ve had the bike for a year and have zero complaints, it’s a great ride.

  3. Whichever color you like the most I suppose. Giant Defys are SUPER underrated though and don’t get talked about enough. The Defy has been a great bike for the last 10+ years through multiple generations. Always get top scores in reviews.

Giant crankset isn’t 105. Its FC-RS520, so bit heavier and downgrade. Revolt has semi-internal cable routing through the stem, so it’s kind of clean but annoying to maintain still.

If you’re going to be riding long distances or rough roads:

The Giant has a seatpost and handlebar that flex, making the ride super comfy.

I have their gravel bike with the same seatpost/handlebar combo and it’s a little like having suspension. Especially the seatpost.

  6. I have the Caledonia as well, about 2000 miles on it since August of 2023. I love that it takes full fenders and 34’s in the summer. I rode it year round in the PNW, logging plenty of wet miles with no BB issues
