Title, I'm looking at bikes for my commute to work, 10 miles round trip and maybe when I'm comfortable, light errands.
I want to dip my toe Into riding, I haven't ridden since I was a kid and I dont want to drop 600+ on a bike Maybe down the line as an upgrade if I want, but for now I'm looking fot more affortable options.
Ive been looking at this, https://www.statebicycle.com/collections/core-line/products/ghoul-core-line-1 seems like a good price, but I want some other takes on the bike it self and the company.
Any other affortable suggestions?

Where do you live? I would go visit a LBS (local bike shop) and see what they have. Often they have bikes for rent so you can see what you like. If you’re in the US, REI is really great because of their return policy and free adjustments within the first year – great for beginners.
