So l have finally got her up and running the way l wanted her and 🥰

I got two sets of handlebar grips – the Ergon gp4sand the Temple ergo leather ones.

I love them both so l'm going to have good weather and bad weather versions (I envision the bad weather ones getting a lot more wear!

In the first is a side view of the Brompton with a brooks dark brown leather saddle on and the black Ergon gp.4 handlebar grails, the second is the same but with the Temple leather hand grips on and the last is a view of the saddle and grips from the handlebars.

  1. 👍, I noticed in your 1st and 2nd pictures of your fully unfolded Brompton, that the pedal was still folded, which leaves the risk of the pedal scraping against the paint of the rear extremity’s rear stay — or the pedal can even become jammed against the stays, if the pedal is moved a half revolution, before unfolding the pedal.

For this reason, I recommend always unfolding the pedal first, which eliminates the risk of accidental movement causing the folded pedal to go or jam against the rear stays, which can cause serious scraping of the paint.
