Attached is a photo of the saddle I currently use. I’m aware it’s not the greatest ever, but I’m very comfortable with it as I’ve been riding with it for many years. The issue is mine is pretty beat up (torn from hitting/rubbing against things when locking up/just the elements in general)

Once the thing is completely shot I’ll need to replace, but it doesn’t seem like San Marco still makes this specific one.

Any recs on something similar? (Specifically shape wise)?

I received a knockoff Brooks b17 as a gift a while back and I tried it for about a month, but I didn’t like it (found it too wide and it dug into my thighs when riding) – so I went back to my beat up San Marco.

I ride a Jamis Sputnik single speed and ride to/from work daily (short commute, 2 miles each way)

On weekends I generally get in longer 30-50 mile rides tho.

Lmk! Thx.

It looks like this saddle is on the narrower side, so it’s not surprising that the B17 felt too wide.

Check out the C15 or C13 carved from Brooks. The C line is also stiff rubber and canvas, so it’s waterproof and better for commuting. The 13 is a race style and uses a different rail diameter if I remember correctly. The 15 style is more of a sporty gravel/road saddle. Both are pretty narrow
