Rear hub needs to be re-greased. Might as well do the BB while you’re at it.

The mechanism inside the freewheel is dragging. Likely caused by the over-tensioned chain, but could equally be a duff freewheel.
Suggest you loosen chain tension slightly.
If the issue persists, then you probably need to replace your singlespeed freewheel.

as others have said.. likely chain tension or bad freewheel… also, you really should have a rear brake if you’re riding this as a singlespeed instead of fixed gear

Do you feel it when you’re riding? If it’s brand new then it could just be the freewheel is packed full of grease or that the chain is slightly too tight. If you can’t feel it riding I wouldn’t worry about it too much…
