Noob question. I’ve looked at a few chain rings at my local shop and they all only looked good driveside. Anyone know why that is?
I’ve seen the backs of Alter chain rings and it’s just just flat milled aluminum. No lettering or raised/lowered sections like on the front. Edges aren’t chamfered or smoothed. Ends up looking hella cheap
For a premium product (with a high price point) it just looks like something a student would mill out of a block of aluminum at a machine shop over the weekend
