A Cycling trip from Cambridge to St Ives and back
This cycle trip was a round loop starting on a typical April morning in Cambridge with rain forecast. It kept dry most of the time for us which was great, but it was pretty wet after the over night deluge we’d had and there was a head wind for most of the morning too! We were very happy to see St Ives and to take refuge from the rain in a lovely local cafe for our lunch stop. In the afternoon we enjoyed being off road on the path alongside the ‘guided buses’ route all the way back to Cambridge – worth a visit to this as it goes through some spectacular nature reserve areas en-route.
