Hello everyone, I'm planning on getting back into mountain biking after nearly a decade. I used to ride a GT Agressor but I feel like I want to invest in just a little bit better of a bike.
In my price range I've narrowed it down to the Kona Lava Dome or the Trek Marlin 5.
I never got too into the details of components before so it's a little bit of another language looking at the differences.
The Trek is on sale for 799.00 Canadian and the Kona is on sale for 830 Canadian .
If it helps I'll be doing mostly light trail riding to start so nothing crazy.
Which bike do you think is a better bang for my dollar?
