Its not really. Doing dishes, laundry, and cleaning is way more tedious and difficult. You just don’t enjoy it. That’s the difference.

If you’re doing regular maintenance a bike stand makes it much easier.

I clean mine after every ride. For me more maintenance is needed on the drivetrain, such as de-greasing and lubing the chain, and cleaning the sprockets once in a while.
