Canyon endurance sl CF 2017 model.
Headset was knocking slightly so took off the top cap etc to take a look and discovered this.
Have only ever used a torque wrench so don't think it's over tightening. Not sure over tightening would cause these marks

Ask Canyon. The steerer tube is a critical component for your safety.
yeah nah you need a new fork. the other thing is that how many spacers you used and where the bolts were clamped. the tube should be at least halfway at the top screw, if not more.
