Stock rear hub on Specializeds notorious for this. Same thing happened on my Fuse. To the companies’ credit they warrantied the part beyond the stated and their local dealer had it fixed in 2 days. That said, I took the opportunity to upgrade the wheelset and hub to something with much better engagement. Those old wheels are now my winters…
