1980 FALCON – Reynolds 531, Campy shifties, Dura-Ace brakies, Sugino Aero Mighty crankset, Cinelli anodized stem, Sakae/Ringyo Four’Sir bars (with mismatched tape SORRY : / at least the texture of the tape is the same). Question: Is the Belt saddle period correct and/or sporty enough for this bike?

Great bike. Quite a mismatch of components but not unusual for that era.
The Fujita Belt saddle is exactly on par with this bike. And much more rare vs a Brooks saddle. And it includes the preferred stitching. All it needs is some conditioning (I use Proofide).

If anything the Campagnolo derailleurs are a bit misplaced but as a whole it looks great and should ride well.
I thought that looked familiar, I’ve looked at your listing on FB marketplace before (I’m in the Ocala area). I’ve personally had better luck doing as someone else suggested, breaking it all down and selling the frame and components individually. I’ve gotten bike boxes from my LBS for free, then shorten the box by making a cut all the way around and sliding one piece into the other, sizing it for the frame covered w/ pipe insulation. I’ve listed on both ebay or bikeforums in their Classic & Vintage sales forum, but have had better luck with bikeforums as there are many people keeping an eye out for specific parts for their vintage builds, and who are also collectors looking for specific framesets. You do have to pay for a year membership to post for sale ads, but I think it’s only $12 for one year. It’s also a great source of learning and knowledge regarding vintage bikes, many of the folks on there have ridiculous amount of detailed knowledge regarding specific brands, frame construction, components, ID’ing unknown bikes/parts, etc. Worth checking out if you’ve never done it before.
