Hello all! I just bought a bike with a Son 28 dynamo hub for a long distance bikepacking trip.
Right now the dynamo is connected to the supernova front and back light. I was wondering if it is possible to connect the lights and an usb-charging port to the dynamo simultaneously.
Right now the wiring is as follows: 1 goes into 2 and 3 gets screwed tight with the bolt, those are the cables for the lights. 4 is loose wiring going through the fork and steering tube, which I want to connect the charging port to.
Is it possible to connect everything simultaneously and if so, which parts would I need to connect it all?
Thanks in advance!!

I haven’t done it yet, so don’t ask me the instructions, but I believe you can buy a “piggyback connector” for this exact purpose with SON dynamo hubs.
Dynamos don’t put out a ton of energy you’d probably be best suited to install a switch for either your USB (going to battery) or your lights. There are a few options out there such as K-Lite (https://www.klite.com.au/product-page/klite-bar-switch-wire-loom-to-dynamo-hub-usb-always-on)
Or you could build your own if you enjoy that sort of thing.
I have a SON dynamo, supernova lights and a usb charger connected to it (cycle2charge). Wire 1 light wire together with 1 usb and use 1 socket for that, do the same with the other. Check if everything works and connect it properly.
I can make a picture tomorrow if you want.
