There are kits sold for older internal 3 speed shifters with the correct hardware, buy one of those.

Looks like there would have been a little nut and bolt that goes through the eyelet at the end of that little chain for affixing the cable.. should be easy enough to hack together a replacement! Super interesting derailleur, my first time seeing one of these
