Hello, I’m Quentin. For the past two years, I have been cycling thousands of miles every year… exploring new horizons. My legs have carried me through about ten countries including Scandinavia at -15°C… Or Scotland offers up endless views of sheep. In this new video, I am bringing you along as we explore Portugal and Spain. Hi everyone! Filming live from Portugal for this new video. As seen in the title, our destination is Portugal and Spain! Of course, still traveling by bike. And here we are on day two! Yesterday, I didn’t record anything because it was so hot and I was completely dehydrated!! I told you guys yesterday how tough it was. I got up at 2:30 AM and caught a plane to Porto. Once I arrived in Porto, I assembled my bike, spent some time getting out of the city, then continued riding. Actually I did 120 km for 2700m of positive de-levels except that I had 35°C, I come from Savoie, where it’s winter! I don’t like the heat for those who know me! I did exactly what I didn’t want to do… that is, shoot the rope to get into play! Here’s my laundry rack! And yes, I washed my things yesterday and they’re not dry! Here and here After a little mechanics: it’s time for the picnic! This lunch will be classic: sandwich with bread, jam, sardines, cheese. Woooh, I’m cooking! In a climb in the middle of the sun but it’s beautiful!! That’s where I’m going! It’s getting hot here again… I went to buy cream for my burns at the a*s due to the over sweating of yesterday then I know how to say hello in Portuguese, but I can’t say… Finally, I know how to say hello for the morning, but I can’t say for the afternoon… I need to look at a translation! It’s 4:30, I’m already showered, laid on the campsite so today I did a small day I had to run 80km for 1000m of de-level, I think. Look how it’s organized: It’s my stretch… A little full of brothel… a little food everywhere. Here and there I’m putting my trail So on the menu: We’re going to mix the sardines, Macedonia with rice that’s baking here. I have no salt, no pepper, no olive oil. So I think you have to mix everything together to make it taste good, or it’s gonna get nasty. And I can’t even eat in my tent, there’s plenty of ants wanting to go home. I don’t know if it’s appetizing, but look at it. We’ll see what it gives. It doesn’t look worse. It’s the pepper, it’s ripping my mouth Oh, yeah, that’s crazy! For dessert… a little cheese, a little bread! Good morning! I just left the campsite. It’s 8:15 p.m. it’s not hot!! 8°C, that’s why I quickly came to get in the sun. My things are wet… In my Haize bag of which you have -15% on the store, I have the drone, I don’t put anything else really, so we need to optimize the storage ! Aaaah I’m too hot!! I’ll do something not very glamorous… I’m gonna put some cream on my body. ’cause I still have burns on my ass … It’s not very glamorous, but here’s what’s done. There’s nobody, it’s too beautiful I’m kicking!! They must have had fun putting these big stones over there… My friends, I live my last kilometers in Portuguese land! Twenty to the Spanish border! I was supposed to stop there tonight normally. but it’s only 2 p.m. and I’m going to be there in 1 hour… Ah, as you can see, it’s not busy … I can taking a nap on the road! So it’s there that makes me fantasize I’d like to throw myself in!! It’s beautiful… it’s beautiful! Very wild where I am! You can stop anywhere I’m in the wrong way, I don’t see a car It’s the desert! That’s too good. And this is Graval or not Gravel? If anyone knows what is it for? I barely got to Spain… that I already do zigzags because it’s too steep ! Well, here I am in the descent, from a small village just after the Spanish border, the first on my road… it’s already been 15 km that I crossed the border and it is funny I don’t … really feel like I’m in Spain when I see this. You can see the snow even better it’s beautiful!! And the first clouds of the journey. The problem… is that it’s announced 2°C tonight so we’ll see if I have not too cold… I’ve already slept at 2°C with my sleeping bag but it wasn’t as worn out as there so I don’t really know if it’s gonna do it… Since it is announced super cold tonight, my things are not yet dry like my towel and my tshirt Then I’m gonna put it in my sleeping bag ! It’s not bullshit! Actually, it’s going to dry overnight. like this Tomorrow I’ll put it on. It’ll be dry… normally ! That’s a little trick! It’s weak, but it works ! A little hot! I just woke up! Not so cold ! It’s ~5°C, I think. Clearly it’s not sunny ! It’s cloudy. I’m fine, it’s 5 degrees here, I’d rather this than the 35 of the other day! I think in my way it’s been more than half an hour that I haven’t see a car. And in the other direction, I saw one! I’m attacking the goat’s cheese ! Here I am walking to go put the camera and take pictures of me! Obviously, to see from the outside not too much choice than to put off the bike and I’m walking ! I booked a hostel tonight as you can see I joined the flat country I’m on my way to the hostel, I hurried because the arrival time was 4:00 but actually I can arrive at 5:00 so I rode like a wild boar over there for nothing but well I love this, I love the flat … at least when it’s mountainous and you just have to push and it goes fast I love this and it is why I’m riding a bicycle and not walking! Today a small step of transition we will say It was all flat compared to what I’ve done so far so here it is I am next to the city of Léon and there I will reach the Eurovélo 3 or the road to Compostela for those walking too… Tomorrow I think I’m going to do a good part of the road to Compostelle It’s gonna be cool. I’m gonna see a lot of people! I miss it a little bit I crossed and talked with very few people actually the campsites and all they are empty I’m alone so it’s very cool finally I don’t mind but I like to meet people also it’s also for I’m doing this kind of adventure because it adds a little bit more… Otherwise I’m going to put the camera and I just saw a nice thing after 4 days of travel Here are… beautiful tan line ! So there I had kindly laid my camera except that I just saw… so it ruined everything I had done. Small underground houses! After another good day of cycling, I have arrived at the hostel. After 4 days of traveling it makes me good to talk to people… other travellers. And for me it’s always as hard to film these meetings because I find it super intrusive, which is why you have few images. Ladies and gentlemen, good morning. I just left the hostel… Well as usual there’s always one who decides to cut of wood during the night and even with the earplugs I had the impression that he was snoring in my ear so without the earplugs it was a festival. I slept well, I just left the hostel and we are on the way to Santiago de Compostela I’m going to meet a lot of pilgrims I think today and here I am in the middle of nowhere, I left the way to Santiago de Compostela I’ve met so many people… I said hello to everybody, it was nice, I stopped Talk to some people, and that’s gravel. That’s where I’m going to the Basque Country and the mountains. I’ve already rode 50 kilometers today, mainly in Gravel. I have a lot of head wind, it complicates the task a bit, fortunately it’s flat. We’re getting a little closer to the mountains again. I arrived in the town of Saldaña, very nice, it’s time to eat. I did I think, not far from half the day, it went well And it’s not too hot. I’m even in a suit. It’s beautiful in this area. I am very very positively surprised by what I am seeing in Spain, It makes you want to come back ! It’s really beautiful but hard, it’s been a head wind since this morning So I think tomorrow I’m going to have a smaller day. because I’m leaving some energy, so maybe tomorrow we’ll have a smaller day. I have ~30 km left. Oh, I have 3/4 tail wind, it’s incredible how fast it goes It’s too good and so it’s good when it goes out there like this after 4-5h to have it in the face. I set up my high studies in laundry drying And I think I’ve done a thousand times too many shopping. I bought so much shit, that’s it. everywhere! There’s food everywhere, and I bought myself a beer! Today was a rough effort. it was necessary to stay focus because it was not easy. Come on, cheers ! Well, a good -1°C! Everything’s frozen! You want some ice cream? Well I didn’t sleep so bad in spite of the cold… The problem is, it’s wet… literally wet! I don’t know if you see it, there are water drops everywhere. My sleeping bag is soaked on my feet, around my head, it’s all wet too I think today I’m going to do a small day it was planned, it will be good! So I could get some rest, maybe I’ll go to sleep indoor tonight ! The advantage of not having a windshield is that at least you don’t have to scratch! I chose to make a small day, I booked… there it’s 10:30 am, a private room. It’ll allow me to dry my stuff. and to rest a little bit because I haven’t slept super well and especially to recharge the batteries, recharge the drone, my powerbanks etc. so it’s no worse, here it’ s 10:30, so that’s why I’m stopped I have a lot a lot of time so I’d like to arrive early as That I can recharge everything, wash all my things and then it’ll be back for a tour That’s where I was supposed to go, but it doesn’t go, so we’re going back. You can ride in the middle of the road, there’s no one. It’s too good ! Come on, I’m leaving the hostel, that’s over there! And it’s a beautiful day! It’s a joke! Well, it’s just fog. Today we are on a good stage! I think I’m going to do ~140 km. It is announced 2000 – 2200 m of de-level. Often what I do is I plan my routes the day before for the next day I never leave having route fully planned except when I went to Norway but because there was only one road so it was pretty easy, but the truth of the field is always different. You always have to adapt a little bit, the proof is that I did nothing of what I had planned. It’s too steep there for me, to be able to ride a bicycle! It’s beautiful, but it’s hard! Early morning, it’s tough. I’ve got my headphone that jumped into the bank! It’s just snoring! Ah, I see it! Ah… ah… Well, I’m in a wall ! I have 10 km at 8-9% I think. It’s the biggest difficulty of the day, I hope I’ll be around noon at the top! Well, here I am at the top. It’s very beautiful! Let’s go down! There’s still so much wind that I can’t make the drone It’s a shame, it’s beautiful, it is really beautiful I don’t even know if you hear me… I think I have to have another 40 km/h of wind over there, well overall it’s going down so that’s all right. What’s fantastic when you’re not lucky, is that when you come from this direction you have head wind, so here I just changed direction I’m supposed to have it on my back… look there’s no more wind… barely. I don’t know if we can see it, but it’s still going down here! I think I am at 10 km/h so there is a wind that stops me!! It’s breaking my b*lls ! Basque Country here I am! It’s funny : yesterday, I said on Instagram that my ideal days, is to ride without big stops And stop me at the campsite around 5 p.m. I’ve got 1.5 km left and it’s 16:57. And I didn’t do it on purpose. It’s a morning wake-up! It’s not hot yet! Come on, I left the campsite and it wasn’t really hot : 1 or 2°C! As usual, everything was wet. and I took out the gloves ! For those of you who know me, you know when I wear gloves it’s really cold! There’s no one! It’s 12:30. I just stopped to eat! I made myself eggs yesterday. Actually, it’s Sunday so I didn’t think everything was closed, so I bought this Muffins for meals, it’s not ideal, but it is cool. 105-110 km so I think, this is going well, it’s cool! Today I film a little less, because visually I find it less interesting! I want to enjoy my bicycle! I’m 160 km away ! And here I am on the road, I must be 5 km from the border, it smells good France! Maybe I found a friend ?! It’s France! Back home baby I’m leaving the restaurant, because it’s Sunday and obviously I don’t have food , so I had nothing to eat. Last day of this trip! I’m heading to Bayonne, where I’ll take the train tomorrow! So that’s the end of the trip, 50 km. It was a nice trip anyway, I’m very happy to have done this! It went very well no problem, zero, physical / mechanical, nothing at all… It’s all right! And that’s too steep! There must be 20 %… So I’d rather push my bike! If you liked this trip, tell me in the comments! Subscribe! There will be plenty of new videos coming This year I’m going to try to show you what I do on my bicycle and especially my way of living it! This is also the reality: you eat in shity places. My friends … I’m arrived in Bayonne! End of this journey, I hope you’ve kicked ! We meet very soon for new adventures ! CIAO

Salut, encore une super vidéo dit moi tu a rider avec quoi comme bike pour ce super trip Portugal Espagne?
I from Russia and i very want go on a Euro trip, but.. now it's imposible :c
Bonjour.
Belle aventure, bravo!
Belle aventure, vidéo très sympa
Bravo pour cette performance👍👍
