Hi,
I was already talking about the same subject in a different post, but decided to create a new one for some visibility and to get the focus only on the geometry side of things.
And thank you all for helping me earlier, didnt expect so many responses so fast! And it was a huge help, dodged a possible bullet there.
Im looking to ride commutes and exercise on roads and also looking to bikepack and do much longer trips in the future. So need a touring/gravel/allrounder bike.
So at the moment one option or at a minimum a benchmark bike for me is the Canyon Grizl in size XXL. Ive seen many posts and comments talking about how the frame fits perfectly for even 6'10 and 6'8 folk. (Me being 6'8 too)
At the moment Im still leaning for the Fuji Touring disc ltd 64cm even though I was told that it could be a bit small. But looking at the geometry it seems bigger than the Canyon? Reach is shorter but I could get a longer stem to fix that issue.
So shouldnt the Fuji be a good option, considering that the Grizl is said to be good for people my height?
One other option is the Marin Four Corners but Marin has suggested that the max rider height is 6'4. The geometry seems promising when looking at the stack and reach, which are the biggest of the three bikes, but the seatpost lenght is really short. So could this bike be a good fit with a longer seatpost if I get my hands on one?

Here is a comparison with the geometry etc. Link bugs out on reddit but copy the whole thing to get them all at the same time

For what it’s worth, I’m 6’6 and ride the largest Salsa Warbird there is. I think you would find it pretty comfortable, maybe add a bit to the stem and a larger seat post. Your local bike store ought to be able to size you, they damn well may be delighted to build a bike of such mammoth proportions.
