MEC Provincial Road 2 Rival

I was looking for a good used bike, mostly looking at Broadie/Norco/Kona gravel bikes (I am based in Vancouver, Cananda and prefer local brands).

Then I noticed MEC (the Canadian REI) is selling their steel gravel at a nice discount.

Specs:

Columbus Cromor steel frame with lowered bottom bracket for stable handling

I use bike for commuting. 20km each way, 350m elevation gain. I ride all year round, often under the rain (Vancouver weather).

The deal seems too good to be true ($1,900 CAD, roughly $1,400 USD, 1.300 EUR).

Am I missing something? I am ready to pull the trigger, but before doing so, I am looking for opinions about why not to.
