I've an old Roubaix that I want to use for some mid-level bikepacking. Old as in 2013; so with a curving top tube (see here: https://www.bikeroar.com/products/specialized/roubaix-elite-compact-2013/49-carbon-satin-charcoal-magnesium). I'm wondering if anyone out there has had experience with trying Restrap (or any other brands' products) on a frame like this: does it work or will it be a waste of time (and money)?
