what exactly is the problem? looks a bit like a learning by doing job.
the spring should be fixed to the silver pin on the top left (first picture).
the 2 big screws go into the threads on the frame.

Take the spring clip and attach it to the silver tab in the upper left of first picture. Then mount in to the bolt holes on the bottom of the bike you can use your fingers to keep the spring under tension and it won’t pop off the silver tab

Direct mount brakes can be a pain to set up without the correct tools and knowledge.
