Today we are in St Albans with @Beachcomber-ux5pe and we take a look at AECOM who have just entered into a £9 Billion Pound Partnership working on the UK National Grid.

We come across another Security who albeit had an SIA Badge but it ws displayed correctly as per his licensing conditions. Another SIA Fail.

The Security loved demanding answers to his questions but didn’t like being pulled up on his failings.

located at number 10 crcket Road in an al1 postcode now aom um launched when a handful of employees from design and engineering companies started a dream of creating an industry leading firm dedicated to delivering a better world um they become an independent Company formed by a merger of five entities now while the official founding was in 1990 many of their predecessor firms had distinguished histories dating back more than 120 years now since then more than 50 companies have joined and in 20 7 uh they became a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange now in the news as of the 8 for May 2024 aom together in a joint venture partnership uh with Arup uh have been appointed uh as a design and consenting service partner for the UK National Grids great grid partnership now the partnership is expected to deliver a design and construction program to connect clean energy um to uh homes and businesses throughout England and Welles by 2030 playing a crucial or critical role in the UK’s energy transition it forms part of a 9 billion yeah that’s right 9 billion supply chain framework which will also support infrastructure projects Beyond 2030 now the management team of Acom are Troy R uh Lara Pini Shirley Adams Tod Batley David Gan and uh gav kapor now the global head um quarters is in Dallas uh and they also have offices across the Glo globe in America Europe Middle East greater China southeast Asia Australia and India so let’s have a look at here shall we so aom are actually on the ground and the uh first floor and uh see what these guys have got been approached now took a while so hello there hello how you doing yeah it’s only when you get to my age you have to worry about waking up in the morning doing what’s the purpose of your filming just you’re doing a licensable activity and I see you got your USA badge there needs to be on display though it’s not fully on display display display yeah it needs to be fully on display facing out it’s not on display at the moment it’s tucked I don’t need to have it on display so you can ID do yes should do section 9.1 of the private Industries and security acts so why are you here well I’ve we just you film your story you can’t come into the building though as long as you know that well have we attempted to come into the building obviously not cuz you’re standing there still so I’m I’m just saying to you you’re not allowed to come yeah I’m I’m aware of the laws and even if I did it’s not criminal matter it’s TR it’s a civil matter anyway mop it you got great content yeah so you top floor you got motor fuel group this is zoom in up there I like warming them up for you well no we’re in a public SP shouldn’t even be coming out talking to us yeah so it’s nice and tidy though the ground which is uh good to see just zoom in on the signs over there if you can see that us of this car park do so at their own risk so the Grands are quite tidy oh that’s not so good so I got a screen on display there not good I will blur that screen though this is quite nice round here so got picnic areas here nice picnic benches another screen facing out just there lost where it was can’t quite work out what it is this looks quite nice all nice and clean and uh clean and tidy nice benches there for staff to come out and enjoy their lunch but is our loow of screens facing out though but you can’t really make out what they are right over the far side of the office but we only got a draw of blinds down so you got CCTV in operation let’s get that sign so is managed by legal and general okay that’s a come okay guys just a short little video of uh aom you got St James’s say you got how you come on this floor a come on that floor St James’s place and you’ve got World fuels uh at the uh at
