Are these costs as a serious part time athlete who’s training to be a pro?

Just stating that these numbers, if accurate, are supposed to be for kids. I think you’d see a lot of change if you look at the cost for adults. E.g. equipment costs for hockey would go down for adults, since they’re not growing out of their equipment every 1-2 years.

I mean you could spend a hundred bucks a year on cycling if not less..
or thousands..
it’s pretty all over the map depending on what you want to do and how much you want nice gear

And thus… I could care less. Let’s revamp this list by environmental impact. It’d at least be interesting in that the respective sport at hand could attempt to better itself.
