We walked a 13.5 mile loop from home today. We passed through Harlow woods and down towards Fountain Dale, then a bit of road walking to Blidworth and across to Tippings wood. We walked through Tippings wood to Rainworth and followed the old Rufford Colliery road to the now disused and demolished Colliery. From there we continued home via Strawberry Hill Heath. The latter part of the walk was a bit muddy underfoot but we both enjoyed being outside in the fresh air. This route took us just over 5 hours to complete.
