Trail starts just north of Napanee Ontario about 15 minutes north of the 401 in Centerville. I parked the car at the Centreville Fairground and there was a lot of space and privacy. The trail is mostly gravel, there are a few stretches of asphalt, but it’s still remote, and I only encountered one motorcycle along the way.  California road is a gravel riders dream, this was my favourite stretch as it meandered through various wetlands.  There’s a makeshift bridge that crossed the Napanee River. It’s staple and safe to cross.  The trail leading up to it for about 1km is loose and I had to hike it a bit.  Those with 47 to 50mm tire might be alright

Napanee is about 2.5 hours from Toronto, so I stayed at the Materson Motel the prior night, and it’s a decent motel to bed down for a night
