Is this a decent first bike?

Hi everyone,

Is this Cannondale Quick Women's 3 Remixte a decent first bike?

Or is there a better option out there that I am overlooking. Looking to stay in this price range $300 – $900

Looking to ride it on bike trails, like the GAP tail and maybe take it in the woods on some dirt trails. Unless you specifically need another bike to handle a dirt trail. I really don’t know a ton so looking for help / advice.
