Hi y’all,
I’ve been wanting to upgrade my bike to a single speed, but without getting too crazy – is it possible to convert to a SS with a conversion kit? I don’t mind the look of a tensioner.
I’m also hoping to get rid of that stem and upgrade the handlebars as well.
Any experience or products you can recommend for my bike? Conversion kits, newer stems/handlebars?

A quill stem converter works well (measure carefully) then modern MTB stem and handlebars can be used. I’d keep the gears unless they are causing heaps of trouble, if you only shift once a month it’s still worth it.
