This bike is all original except for the tires. Mainly driving the bike on gravel roads, it's shifts really smoothly and feels great to ride. I'm looking for advice on stylish front rack/basket and rear rack, open and interested in any ideas to make it a bit more utility but keeping it looking nice as well. Thanks

I love my trek 830. I use a velo orange canti-rando rack and attach a wald 137 to it with voile straps. Its my favourite set up the rack is really minimal and the basket goes on and off super easy. But when the basket is on its solid.

I wouldn’t do too much to this. It looks very clean and nice as it is.
I’d start with a back rack and see if that gives you the hauling capacity that you need. You can always add a basket or panniers to the back if you need to increase the load. A front basket will change the feel of the ride more significantly imo, particularly during starts and stops. You can always add one later if you truly need it. Another option for the front is to get a handlebar bag, big enough for a phone and wallet, but not so big that it’ll weigh down your front end.
Check your cranks, they look like may be the ones affected by the 1997 recall: [https://bike.shimano.com/en-US/information/customer-services/recalls-and-repairs/fc-ct90-m920-mc12-cranks.html](https://bike.shimano.com/en-US/information/customer-services/recalls-and-repairs/fc-ct90-m920-mc12-cranks.html)
I just bought and installed a Planet Bike Eco-rack on my latest build. It’s a pretty sturdy rack and absolutely fits into the build you already have there.
The planet bike KOKO rear rack is overbuilt but not very heavy, suites this sort of bike, I think.
Giant wald fenders on mine.

front pizza racks (Specialized etc) seem unstable-ish to me, although many people like them.
Man I run a Blackburn MTN rack and I love it for the back rack.
