Excited to get my first steed but unsure on what would be a good deal with my lack of knowledge. Here is something I’ve found on marketplace, is this a solid deal for $400CAD? It’s a 2017. If not, where would you recommend me searching for a good entry level road bike without breaking the bank?

Seems like a good deal as long as you are right around 6 feet tall. I would have preferred the original 105 brakes and just run 25-28mm tires, but it is what it is. Get it and start riding.
Are you sure it’s a 2017? Looks older to me.
Looks more like 2012 ish with 105 5700. Whereas 5800 was available in 2014 I think so it’s a surprise that old 10 speed 105 would be on a 2017.
