New Izumi chain. Why is this so noisy??? Brand new chain, cog is worn but definitely not worn out. Previously had a SRAM single speed chain and it was buttery smooth and quiet.

both my bikes with izumi chains and quailty drivetrain parts are notably louder than my beater with a kmc and random cog/chainring

They’re loud chains. Quieter with a little slack. Is this a thunderdome?
Drive it with a bit slack then it is a bit quieter. Some people say they have the right chain lube for izumie but i dint know. I have some cheap stuff and some muc off oil and both do nothing for „the sound“
Is that frame a goldsprint 13? Or colossi? The paint looks like a goldsprint 13.
