Two people in my area. One with a well done old Schwinn at a reasonable price, and one reaching on a ragged out Stumphumper. Sure the Stumpjumper is a “better” bike, but come on. Also that Traveler is fly AF.
I see dumbly priced bikes all the time. TBH I can almost kind of understand because the price of old bikes is so ridiculously low, I feel it would be a shame to take market value for any of my bikes. But I also think these people either do little to no market research or they just have loads of overpriced bikes that they don’t care if it takes years to sell, as long as they get above market value which they probably will if they wait long enough.
Edit: but yeah that Schwinn looks schweet and is definitely priced right
chiboulevards on
Specialized bubble is real. That’s why I don’t even search for them anymore.
