let’s [Music] go hi everyone welcome back to my channel and to another Vlog this time I’m in Stockholm for flutter and Friends conference yes another flutter conference friends but it’s slightly different than others and you will soon know why am I saying that anyways I’m very excited to meet all the flutter friends give my talk and workshop explore stock home and have loads of fun I’ve always wanted to travel to Sweden it has been on my bucket list since forever also I’m a big ABA fan so on the day I arrived the first place I went to was the ABA Museum and let me show you some glimpses of it [Music] [Music] I’m the you [Music] [Applause] [Music] after enjoying Blissful ABA music for over 2 hours I headed to gamla Stan the old toown one of the largest and best preserved medevial City centers in Europe This is where Stockholm was founded over 700 years ago there are several beautiful museums and historic attractions here I got a chance to see royal palace from outside and then I vended around a little bit I explored some cute shops clicked pictures got some fridh magnets a must think um the weather was quite good A bit chilly for me but it was a lot better than Glasgow so I was happy I got some ice cream and after a day of walking quite a lot I was tired and hungry so I searched for an Asian Indian restaurant and luckily found one near the place I was staying so had some food and called it a day this is day one of the conference the organizers had a brilliant concept for the first day that allowed speakers and attendees to choose from activities such as cycling tour kaying amusement park visit and Museum tour I signed up for the cycling tour for which I had to meet everyone at 1:00 p.m. so I had some time before that and I went to the Nordic Museum I spent some time there learning about Nordic countries their history and culture also I really like this unique approach of flutter and Friends conference as it not only facilitated networking but also provided a chance for everyone to have a great time together living up to its name flutter and Friends indeed became the perfect place to meet fellow flutter Enthusiast make new friends and enjoy memorable moments together [Music] hey hey hey [Music] [Music] so after cycling for more than 3 hours getting lost toce it was finally time to take some rest and have some food so after this I joined other speakers and headed to speaker dinner [Music] hold the board [Music] I mean it’s [Music] [Music] actually remember the days were Wild and Free basic getting pleas welcome to uh the speaker dinner for flat and friends we’re only waiting for but he’s on the way from the airport here so let’s see when he up uh they will start coming in and asking for drinks and then we will have oh actually maybe we get the rest a surprise yeah we can do that there might be singing involved uh if you haven’t met us before I’m Lucas and I’m Alec and yeah now do you have back up a speaker for tomorrow by the way just in case we already planned that for cheers in New York La in San Diego Thank you for joining us thank you for having us that was so [Music] [Music] [Music] after dinner there was a flutter up course too but I was very tired and obviously had to do some last minute changes in my slides so I headed back to the hotel [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] and so as Lucas mentioned when they first reached out and said that they’re having this conference and I found out I was speaking here one of the first questions I asked was do you have an app for fluttering friends SW it’s always a good time um the last thing that I want to mention is one of the really cool things about working at Shir is the way that we work and [Applause] thanks a lot for a great talk Felix thank you and now on to some questions all right if you bomb your talk you’re nowhere near having the biggest problems in this room so keep that in mind uh having a bad talk it happens to everybody and roll with it you’ll be fine so with that said said you know I’m going to take it no um I’m Scott stall I’ve been involved with flutter since September 2017 the flex fit of the fit determines if the flex of the flexible will be allowed the flex the flexible so that it fits better into the flex and lastly don’t confuse the flex with flex or you’re going to end up were you thinking something else all right because it’s not forcing it to obey the [Applause] [Music] size and allows us to dynamically overwrite the value in the widget book UI and how kns work is we used some and stuff like that whether you company does any internship how do I get the first position in the technology and [Music] it’s time to go back home so if I had to sum up my EXP experience I would say it was 10 on 10 I really liked those Day Zero activities where I got to meet so many folks and overall it was very well organized by Lucas and Alec and one more thing that stood out about flutter and Friends conference is that they also organized a workshop for speakers that was quite useful and helped all of us make better presentations personally I have a lot to work on but that’s the part of the process so that was all for this Vlog do like this video subscribe to my channel and I’ll see you soon with another one
