I am working on an older Trek 6700. The brakes look to be a legacy HFX model from Hayes
I have not worked on hydraulic brakes before and it looks pretty technical. The rear brakes lines are empty and look to have leaked out of the lever housing and it is corroded. The front brakes seem low. See photo.
Is this salvageable? Is it worth it or better to install new brakes.
Any guidance is appreciated.
