Ok so I'm currently on a 15 year old Schwinn, pic attached, which I love as far as comfortable and style but it's just build so cheap and crappy. Plus I'd like some gears and a step through model. I have it narrowed down to three bikes. The reason for these three is because it's what my local shop has and I love dealing with them so I'd like to buy from them. The three are: Trek Verve 2, Electra Cruiser, Electra Townie. Now, I'm mostly riding on flat surfaces with some hills here and there. And when I say hills I'm talking small inclines not mountains. I do them with the Schwinn but just takes some leg muscle is all. Would like to use left effort. Always on pavement. I always think I'm going to do more riding but usually just the occasional ride around the neighborhood and paved trails at the parks. I love to ride though and maybe with a different bike I'll enjoy it even more. I really want an upright riding position too. I can't stand leaning forward to ride anymore. What are your thoughts on those three? Thanks in advance.

This may be biased but I always recommend the Townie 7D. If I had to choose one bike to ride the rest of my life it is the Townie 7D. Cheap replacement parts, super light, flat foot technology and super simple you could easily do the maintenance yourself. Seriously best cruiser bike.
