Hey all, I’ve had my Novara Randonee for about 8 years. During that time, I’ve done several long tours on it, but I’ve never felt like I dialed in the fit just right. About halfway through the day, I end up only on the flats with my hand propped up as shown in the first pic. I hardly ever use the hoods or drops especially when I’m tired. The brakes in particular seem too far to actuate effectively. This makes me feel as though the reach is too long and low even though the bike says 5’6”-5’9” (I am 5’8”).
What can I do to try to fix this? The saddle is all the way forward. The stem is already relatively short and angled upward. Is another set of bars and brake levers worth trying?
