Im about getting a new bike – still can’t decide which one to get.
I’m currently focusing (lol) on the focus atlas 8.7 (8.9 in the attached picture).
Since I have some old Ortlieb rear bags (kinda like the ones attached) I want so save some money (since the adventure rack -which is shown in the first picture- is sold out) and keep using them.
Is there any way I can attach (and actually pack them to an useful weight) them to the rear reels?
Sorry for my English, I’m a German potato.

Edit: don’t know what happened to the picture. Added another one with the actual 8.7 bike and the adventure rack attached. (Source: bike-Magazin.de)

One of the issues of the ATLAS is they try to force you into a proprietary « solution » for keeping the bikepacking aesthetic – and make money out of you.
I’d have a look at rear racks that either clamp on the seat tube, but maybe the centered hole in the rear stay bridge might actually work with some rear racks, but I don’t know which ones….
I like Tubus, but Old Man Mountain also might have solutions for you. And I think Ortlieb has racks with seat post mounts too!
