Hi guys, I have a restored 70s Puch race bike but the rear derailleur has recently given up (due to some precarious garage management).
The original derailleur is a Shimano Tourney GS, and I am looking to replace it, which I believe is a claw mount derailleur. So I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?
I am torn between finding a more modern replacement (which are often cheaper and maybe more robust, but I think I’d need to adapt the mounting) or going for another vintage pieces, which could be a replacement or an upgrade.
So if anyone has any recommendations, I’d be grateful!
