I’m very interested first of all in Greenways in general in in and around Belfast because I work for Belfast Hills partnership so it’s great to see how it links up into the hills and then of course links I live in Belfast so how it links into this the city center uh I’m very keen that people can use the Greenways to discover new areas and new places and new activities I’m also haven’t worked for many years in nature conservation I’m really interested in the on the Green Space uh from a landscape point of view but particularly from a biodiversity point of view you cannot expect people to care for areas and Wildlife if they can’t see it for us it’s about making sure that everybody has equality in terms of access to cycling path and cycling infrastructure in the west of city as in the North of city as in the E east of city and in South yeah well the Heart Project is um we’re a Healthy Living Center so we uh developed this inclusive cycling project um so it’s for adults basically returning to cycling adults whove never cycled before we’ve been waiting for this for a very long time and we will be the first ones on it so delighted uh I came along today because uh the proposed route is going to link in with a lot of other cycle routes and open up um the possibilities for more people to be commuting into Belfast what I wanted to have a look at in particular was um things like accessibility on the rout so how wide it was for the likes of Tres or accessibility Cycles so yeah I’m just really excited uh that this is that this is in planning and we’re getting there um so I just wanted to come and have a look
