Let's say hypothetically I was bored and stuck my cleat into my pedal with no shoe attached. How do I get it out. Picture is one I found on the internet and totally not mine.
It happened to ~~me~~ my friend too. ~~I~~ They managed to somehow partly bolt their shoe onto the clear while it was clipped in, and then squat the clear out with the shoe.

I mounted mine to my bike. Gave me a little more leverage. Then just force it out. Jammed my thumb really bad though. Discolored nail and it was swollen for a few days.

Maybe get some needle nose pliers and stick the ends into two different holes and twist it out?
Three chopsticks.
Two bolts clamped in a vise the correct distance apart. Twist the pedal.
Decrease the tension to the max and then you should be able to pop it out with your hand
[thread just posted with the same problem](https://www.reddit.com/r/bikewrench/s/3rpgaXxt5T)
Good luck!
