markvauxhall on June 1, 2024 1:18 pm Found a pair of GP5000s that I bought ~3 years ago. They’ve been in the bottom of a box ever since. Any idea if they’re OK to use? I’m particularly looking at the sharp bends in the wire bead. Thanks a lot.
HereWeGoAgain666999 on June 1, 2024 1:25 pm They will be fine id open them up and place somewhere warm to let them stretch a bit will help with installing
Foreign_Curve_494 on June 1, 2024 1:27 pm Yeah. Sometimes tyres we buy will have been in a warehouse for years before getting to us
jawide626 on June 1, 2024 1:56 pm Should be good if they’ve been in a box somewhere out the way. It’s significant temperature fluctuations + uv rays that damage rubber.
GrosBraquet on June 1, 2024 2:19 pm Yeah. They might get worn a bit quicker but it’s still perfectly safe and it would be a shame to throw them away brand new.

Run them. Inspect them periodically.

Nope. Send them to me for proper disposal.
