Looking for some advice as to what could be the cause of this creaking. This is a fairly new bike with only maybe 100 miles on it.

I noticed this creak start to develop and have gone crazy tracking it down. I finally was able to find a way to recreate the same sound indoors by holding the brakes hard and putting some weight on the cranks.

In this video my seat post and clamp are fully removed, so I think it’s safe to say it’s not the seat post. I just installed a new bottom bracket like an hour before this so I know the BB and cranks and everything are greased and torqued properly. I recently cleaned and retorqued the chainring bolts too.

It seems like this is coming from the rear wheel more than anything – trying to figure out if maybe it’s the spokes, the derailleur itself, or maybe the rear wheel sitting in the dropout with the QR skewers. I did just fully reseat and retighten the wheel into the dropouts.

Maybe something else entirely? Any input is appreciated!
