Just got a Schwinn Circuit and Im having trouble with the serial number. I know *where* it is and Ive used the lookup tool, but I think its an 87-89?
Its been wildly upgraded too so the parts arent the originals.
Please please help-thanks in advance!!

[It’s late 90’s](https://www.flickr.com/photos/hermespag/albums/72157627026170376/). Aluminuim frame, and those shifters didn’t come out until 1992
I think the only upgrade I see is the carbon fork. The wheels might be upgraded, but the look to be similar age
Google just told me it’s a 1998.
[Yup 1998.](http://oldbikeshop.blogspot.com/2017/06/1998-schwinn-catalog.html?m=1)
Bonus: in the catalog you can see the bike on it’s driver side😜
Makes sense the fork was replaced. Who wants a shock absorbing fork on a road bike ?
EXCELLENT.
Thanks, I thought I did my dilligence lol.
This is my 1st bike with the integrated shifters and WHOA. Im going for my 2nd ride 20 mins+ with it as I type.
👍🤞
This is a Schwinn from the 1990s, after the original Chicago-based Schwinn had gone bankrupt and had been bought and sold once or twice. It’s a perfectly functional bike, but I would not worry about keeping it period correct, it doesn’t have any collector value

Just got back from my ride and WOW. STILL.
Thanks again for the help/solving my issue for me.
