Thanks to everyone in this community that responded to my bike-ID post a few weeks ago.
I picked up this epic Titanium Dean Castanza Road Bike and have been loving riding it everyday. A Titanium road bike has been a grail for me ever since I’ve been riding bikes. I’ve had a few chances over the years to pick one up second hand including a Serrotta, and a Litespeed but never pulled the trigger due to finances or just the wrong feeling.
I ended up buying this Titanium bike without knowing the history or the builder of it and with Reddit’s help I got a positive ID within 24 hours!
The bike rides like a bolt of lightning and it is soo buttery smooth. My other passion is sewing and making gear so I’ve already made a front rack and a frame back for the bike. I’m going to upgrade the drivetrain to 11speed this next month but other than that keeping it mostly as is.
