I have seen some excited posts about Bridgestone mountain bikes. I have my Dads and I love it but it’s just not as comfortable as I’d hoped. One option is to just keep it and hang it on the wall. Is there a market for this? I think my Dad would think I’m crazy to keep it if it has value and others would like to buy it…

Your choice of bars to make it comfortable and you’re good. Try some swept-back touring bars.
What do you mean it’s not comfortable? Those BodyGeometry saddles are one of the best saddles out there. Level it out first.
Don’t look like original forks so why not fit suspension, would improve comfort
If it doesn’t bring you joy, let it go. In this condition it could go for 400-500 bc of Bridgestone cult following. It’s a nice bike but good fit is the number one factor in a bike. If it’s too small for you, sell it and let someone else enjoy it. If it has sentimental value, you could make it more upright with some Bosco bars or the like from Rivendell. Would require new cables and housing tho.
Change the bars and stem add a second water bottle cage to the down tube and your done.
