Finally got back out after it's warmed up a bit, wondering what techniques I should learn to start hoping higher out of quarter/half pipes.

Pick you your bars a bit higher, followed by you also picking up the back end, kinda like j hoping out of it
Learn to pump the ramp. Dropping in smoother to carry more speed also will help.
