Hub issue fixie. Hi, i am having a problem on my fixie when applying heavy pressure to the chain/hub. It “slaps” and it feels like the hub just lets go for a split second. I dont know what is going on, i tried tightening everything and it still happens. Any help would be appreciated.

Your cog is getting loose and is likely stripped. I’d take the rear wheel into the shop and have em check it/ tighten it.
100% cog slip.
I had the same thing happen to me on a brand new bike as well, the LOCK RING was the issue – just tightened it a bit and it runs perfectly fine.
This happened to me also. You can tighten your Cog without any tools worked great for me, now I’m skidding with no slipping. Here’s how https://youtu.be/5qIVEpyelP0?si=E5NF3DcxI5TBS0o8
You are eating the threads, i went trough three wheels in a month like this. If you are strong you can skid without putting a lot of weight forward, but the cog can’t.
Get that cog tightened, and that should solve the slipping. Do it now to prevent any issues.
i have the same issue a couple monts a go and almost got hit by a buss, and yes was the cog
