Visiting Little Rock and I have planned a whole day for a gravel ride. Only able to find routes West of Little Rock near Lake Sylvia and Lake Winona in the Ouachita National Forest.

Looking for a challenging ride around 50 miles with great views. I'll be riding by myself and bringing all my own supplies.

Anyone have any experience with this area or routes?

  1. RWGPS Big Fish Gravel Loop
  2. RWGPS Lake Sylvia Gravel Loop

Open to other areas around Little Rock too if you have a recommendation. Thanks!

  1. West of LR will be hilly and water will be scarce because the roads tend to stay high.

East of Little Rock (Lonoke area) are plenty of flat and windy gravel roads. Water will also be a bit scarce here but there will be commercial outposts, churches, etc.

Both are fun areas to ride.
