Does anyone use a 1up bike rack with a combination of different size bikes? I ride a 29er. I have two kids who ride a 24" Specialized and a 20" Scott. I know the rack says it can work with wheels as small as 16" but I'm concerned with the bikes being different heights and getting in each others way.
I currently have a Yakima rack ( https://www.rei.com/product/871149/yakima-ridgeback-4-bike-hitch-rack ) that I put an old aluminum hardtail on for rides with the kids, but I'm looking for something to transport my new Canyon Spectral CF. This rack only works by leaving an empty space between my bike and the kids smaller bikes.
Any info or pictures would be appreciated.

It should work great. You have an incredible amount of range that you can move the bikes left to right to combat any interference. It’ll be infinitely easier to use than your current rack.
