Was gifted this Schwin Super Le tour (late 80s Japanese frame) converted from 27inch wheelset road bike to commuter fixed gear get around town/ tracklocross style bike. This was all just stuff I had lying around so currently Running 700×35 but this thing has a msssive amount of tire clearance so I may bump that up. Probably gonna dig through the basement of my LBS to find some sortve suitable front brake but it was a blast to build this up.
The rear of the frame is spaced at 126mm and fork at 96mm (wheelset is 120/100) the steel frame/fork flexed fine to get them in there, I’m pretty comfortable with cold setting steel so I may do that in the future but it’s fine for now.
