Hi Guys!
I really know that maybe most of you are sick, bored and annoyed of these kind of posts … but I really appreciate any help, suggestions and recommendations!
So as you can see, I consider to buy an Aeroad … and Canyon Sizeguide recommends XL …
But I read and heard before, that the Aeroad Frame is large / larger (in German we would we „fällt groß / größer aus“) …
So my question: because I am closer to XXL I would not go for the smaller frame in size L and stay with XL???
Maybe some of you have the same measurements and can share their thoughts and impressions!
Many thanks, Toni!

XL. It’s right there.
193/93, short arms (-13 ape index) here. Riding XL. Saddle pushed little forward. One spacer removed. I’m quite thin and carry leftovers of flexibility from my years of rock climbing.
I find the geometry very comfortable. Wouldn’t like it to be longer (short arms).
Stick with size XL, I’m riding aeroad CFR on size XL.
As reference my height is 194cm, imseam 91cm.
Shoulder width 46cm(CP0018 only adjust to 44mm but it’s ok)
Wingspans 203cm
I just have no issue with it. Also did bike fitting for adjusting.
Do not listen to other people says and I never felt canyon size are larger than normal brand (but for giant, yes) you are German, you can find the geometry data on their website, time for you to become a German engineer.
