hello I’m on Alexandra Road and we’re approaching St orban’s roundabout where we’re going to take the third exit right onto lynchford road so we’ve got a damp wettish Road surface I’m keeping a distance of at least 4 seconds between me and the vehicle in front just checking my middle mirror and right mirror moving over to the right because of the park vehicles and also the road goes that way checking my middle mirror scanning The Pedestrian Crossing and watching that cyclist in B staying out of the bus lane middle mirror right mirror moving over to the right A little I can already see there’s a zebra Crossing from the flashing amber Beacon up there so I’m going to be checking my mirrors and looking left and right at as I approach the zebra Crossing to see if anyone pedestrians are approaching the crossing and if they are obviously I will stop and let them go and we’re going to be taking the third exit right as I pull up behind the vehicles I’m leaving a gap of at least a me uh so I can see the bottom of the tires on the tarmac and at least a meter of tarmac between me and the vehicle in front I have a c clear sign in the road so I’m not going to stop on that I’m going to wait till there’s room for my car on the other side and all my mirrors moving forward middle mirror right mirror signaling right just checking my left mirror as I move back into the middle of the road and I’m scanning The Pedestrian crossing the zebra Crossing and I’m not going to stop on the zebra Crossing now there’s room for my car on the other side just glancing right and around the roundabout is safe for me to go staying over to the right and then middle mirror left mirror signaling left and moving off the round about and it’s a new road new mirrors middle mirror right mirror and I’m now on lynchford Road and I’m heading for Queen’s roundabout and at Queen’s roundabout I’m going to go straight on second exit heading to government House Road so I’m just checking my mirror there’s pedestrians approaching those lights they probably pressed the button so I’m going to ease off just in case they change they’re still green so I’m carrying on there’s the layout of the roundabout on the white sign and there’s the sign that tells me what Lane I want now there’s two lanes that go straight on I’m going to pick the left of the two which is the second left lane so checking my mirror starting to break and I’m going to bring the car to a stop at the stop line and while I’m stopped I’m going to check my door mirrors for motorbikes and cyclists that might come up the sides of the car I’m looking around the junction for any potential hazards such as pedestrians I’m looking ahead at the road so I can see my lane and all my mirrors and I’m moving forward Quick Glance right making sure it is actually safe to go can see the lights ahead are red so middle mirror check starting to break remember I’m going to leave that nice big gap between me and the vehicle in front and then all my mirrors pulling forward staying in the left lane middle mirror left mirror signaling left and I’m pulling off the roundabout and it’s a new road new mirrors middle mirror right mirror and I’m scanning The Pedestrian Crossing and The Junction to make sure it’s safe to cross remember green means go if it’s safe it doesn’t just mean go you must check that it’s safe before you cross the Junctions and there’s two lanes here I’m staying in the left lane because the right lane is for overtaking or turning right
