Hi bike wrenching wizards.
I was looking at my Shimano Nexus hb-im40 hub because I thought there was play in the bearings. Turns out the play is between the roller brake interface and hub shel. Is there anyone who know if this can be tightened up?

I have the same issue and didn’t find any solution to get rid of the play. I hope someone knows!
I did add some lubricant between the interface and the hub and that made the ‘clunking’ noise disappear.
